Not too much to say here as this kit was built pretty much box stock but with a custom colour and a display stand made from MDF.
Made to at least closely match the real one my brother in law actually owned, it was built from an old IMAI kit over the period of about two weeks. Although a kit, there is a surprising amount of work that goes into building a model like this as it is fairly complex and delicate. Painting is the biggest challenge as the paint job must be as close to perfect as it can be. The hardest thing to do in model building is to get a nice glossy and perfectly smooth paint job with no flaws. I think I got it fairly close.

It’s very satisfying and interesting to build a model like this because the detailed complexity of such a subject is intriguing.
